Tar virtuoso Keyvan Saket to give concerts in Iraq

TEHRAN,Nov.26(MNA) -- Iranian musician and tar virtuoso Keyvan Saket planned to give concerts in the two Iraqi cities of Erbil and Sulaimaniyah in mid-December. A collection of Kurdish songs have been selected for performance during the concerts, Saket told on Monday. A team of professional Iraqi Kurdish musicians are scheduled to accompany Saket during the concerts. “I have chosen Iraq for my performance since I get a lot of energy from the audience there. I also have plans to give more concerts in Iraq, in which I will perform several Persian compositions with Iranian musicians as well,” he added.
