TAT to organise adventurous wedding ceremony

RATCHABURI, Feb 13 (TNA) -- The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is set to co-organise an adventurous wedding ceremony in Ratchaburi province, where couples would be able to prove their true love by working together to survive the different courses set up at Tenasserim Hills, to welcome this year's Valentine's Day. Organiser of adventurous weddings, Natthaphon Wutthikanakorn said whenever an adventurous wedding ceremony is mentioned, most people would immediately think of the Baan Pha Ngam Resort in Prachin Buri province, which was the first location to organise such a wedding popularly known among Thais and foreigner alike as the "Adventure Wedding Thailand." Baan Pha Ngam Resort, meanwhile, has moved its business operations to Suan Phueng district of Ratchaburi province last year, added Mr Natthaphon. He then said that this year, the organisers would be joining forces with the TAT Phetchaburi Office, the Scenery Vintage Farm and Baan Hom Thien of Suan Phueng district to hold the 13th Adventure Wedding Thailand under the theme, 'Because Love is An Adventure' on February 13. Mr Natthaphon said there would be two obstacle course for the event, the first being a 10-metre tall ferris wheel to prove the support each couple has for each other, while latter would entail an escape from animals and birds to prove their true love in getting through rough times together. Three couples have already registered to participate in the adventure this year. (TNA)
