Tehran to host 1st Glob Hep Comm Meeting

TEHRAN, Jan. 13 (MNA) – The 6th International Tehran Hepatitis Congress and the 1st Glob Hep Comm Meeting will be held in Tehran in June 2015. The 6th International Tehran Hepatitis Congress (THC6) and the 1st Global Hepatitis Community Meeting (First GHCM) will be held in Tehran in June 2015, focusing on viral hepatitis at Razi Conference Hall. THC6 will present the latest topics and the cutting edge of the field of hepatitis to a large audience of specialists, active in gastroenterology or hepatology, particularly those involved in basic research and in the clinical care of patients with liver diseases. Hepatitis Conference will be concentrated on burden of the viral hepatitis in Iran and the region, as well as the diagnosis and new treatments of viral hepatitis. THC6 will have more specialized lectures on fatty liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma and liver transplantation. At THC6, more than 20 renowned lecturers from Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Australia, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, France and some regional countries will present the latest findings in the field of hepatitis. The conference is one of the biggest scientific events in the field of liver disease which is held every two years in the Middle East and Central Asia hosting a large number of researchers and practitioners from Iran and abroad.
