Tehran To Host Int’l Nutrition Congress

Tehran, Oct 29, IRNA - The First International and the 13th Iranian Nutrition Congress titled “Nutrition Sciences: New Perspectives, New Roles” will be held at Tehran’s Nirou Research Institute from November 30 to December 3. The congress will discuss key topics on Nutrition and life cycle, capacity-building in food and nutrition sciences, food and nutrition security, clinical nutrition and dietetics, advances in food and nutrition science and policy, food sciences and nutritional genomics. Iranian Nutrition Society, National Nutrition & Food Technology Research Institute and Shahid Beheshti Medical University are organizing the event. Professor Catherine Geissler, director of Higher Education Academy of Health Sciences and Practice Center, Professor Simin Meydani, director of the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, Dr. Hossein Qassemi and Dr. Ali Akbar Sayyari are keynote speakers./end
