Tehran institute to review book on history of Iran-U.S. relations

TEHRAN,Oct.19(MNA) -- A book on the history of political relations between Iran and the United States of America will be reviewed during a session at Tehran’s Book City Institute on Monday evening. “A Few Stages of the Story of Relations Between Iran and America and Other Articles” has recently been published by Hermes in Tehran. Author Mohammadreza Dabiri, the director of Iran’s International Institute for Caspian Studies and the former Iranian deputy foreign minister, Abbas Maleki, and former Iranian diplomat Seyyed Sadeq Kharrazi, who was an advisor to Iran’s former president Mohammad Khatami, will attend the panel. Dabiri is also author of “Strategy and Tactics in Diplomatic Negotiations” (1991) and “Protocols and Rules of Procedure in the United Nations” (1993) and several articles on political issues. Watching America, an American website that reflects global opinion about the United States, published Dabiri’s article entitled “Howard Baskerville: A Story of Relations between Iran and America” in August 2010.
