Tehran Intˈl Holy Qurˈan Exhibition Opens

Tehran, June 25, IRNA -- The 22nd Tehran International Holy Qurˈan Exhibition was inaugurated at the Sacred Defense Garden Museum on Tuesday. Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister Ali Jannati and Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf attended the inaugural ceremony. The exhibition will continue until July 13, 2014. The motto of this yearˈs exhibition is ˈExpanding and Promoting Qurˈanic Culture with National Determination and Jihadi Managementˈ. In June, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Reza Heshmati, director of this edition of the exhibition described it as an opportunity for demonstrating the scientific aspects of the Holy Book. He said it is the Culture Ministry and the Supreme Cultural Revolution Council seek to promote the scientific dimension of the Qurˈan./end
