Texas House of Representatives passes resolution on Khojaly genocide

Baku, February 21 (AzerTAc). The Texas House of Representatives passed a resolution 12R448 drafted by its member Marc Shelton on the 20th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide. The resolution says: “February 26, 2012 is a memorial day for world Azerbaijanis. The US media outlets and the Human Rights Watch/Helsinki organization also inform about this massacre.” It is the second document on Khojaly genocide passed by Texas legislation. The first was adopted on March 3 2011. The document was drafted by the republican Murphy and signed by the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives.
