Thai army confident in security at military armories

BANKGOK, April 26 (TNA) - The Royal Thai Army has assured the public of security systems at its military armories, following growing concerns over several war weapon attacks, including M79 grenades, which have been carried in Bangkok at a time of the ongoing domestic political strife. Royal Thai Army Deputy Spokesman Colonel Winthai Suwari made the assurance on Saturday, insisting that security systems at its military armories are in good shape, as all the armories are strictly guarded by army personnel. The deputy spokesman said the Royal Thai Army has also strengthened security in border areas to prevent arms smuggling. Besides, army personnel are also ordered to strictly adhere to their rules, while actions will be taken against those who breach the rules. (TNA)
