Thai authorities look for suspected Ebola victim

BANGKOK, November 24 (TNA) - Police in Sa Kaeo Province in the Thai East are tracing for an escaping Sierra Leonean man suspected to have infected with the deadly Ebola virus. The suspected Sierra Leonean man, identified as 31-year-old Sesay Samuel, has escaped from Thai health authorities' control in Bangkok. Copies of the Sierra Leonean suspect's picture were distributed to immigration police at the Aranyaprathet border checkpoint in Sa Kaeo Province on Monday so that the local authorities can look for him. Besides, paramilitary rangers of the 1206th paramilitary company and police at Sa Kaeo's Khlong Luek station are patrolling border areas in Aranyaprathet to block the Ebola suspect from sneaking out of Thailand. However, the local authorities have not yet found any clue of the suspect's presence in the border area. (TNA)
