Thai-Cambodian border market lively

BANGKOK, December 15 (TNA) - Booming businesses return to the Chong Jom market near the Thai-Cambodian border as a large number of Cambodian traders have crossed the border to buy consumer goods and farm products from the Thai side for resale in Oddar Meanchey province of Cambodia. Hundreds of Cambodian and Thai traders have brought their products for trade at the Chong Jom market opposite the local customs office of Kap Choeng district in the northeastern Surin province during the weekend. Cambodian traders were seen buying a great deal of farm products, especially vegetables which they will resell at home. The Chong Jom market opens on weekends and attracts crowds of Thai and Cambodian people who come to buy consumer goods. (TNA)
