Thai civil servants to receive New Year’s bonus

BANGKOK, December 14 (TNA) - The Thai Ministry of Finance has announced that civil servants nationwide will receive a New Year’s bonus for their performances in helping the government achieve its goals. Manas Jamveha, Director-General of the ministry's Comptroller General’s Department, told reporters of the plan on Friday, saying that Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and finance minister Kittirat Na-Ranong has decided to set aside budget totaling more than 3.745 billion baht for the bonus to be given to the civil servants by the first quarter of 2014.(TNA)
