Thai Culture Minister, Bahraini Ambassador review strengthening cooperation

Bangkok, Feb. 18 (BNA): Thailand’s Culture Minister Itthiphol Khunpluem received Bahrain’s Ambassador to Thailand Mona Abbas Mahmoud Radhi. The minister stressed the importance of strengthening cultural relations between both countries, saying they are a soft force for rapprochement between peoples, with regard to participation in art exhibitions, food festivals, films, fashion and handicrafts, in light of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two kingdoms. The ambassador praised the distinguished relations between the two countries, pointing to the long history and rich culture of creative industry in various colors of culture and art. She stressed the importance of supporting cultural cooperation efforts to deepen bilateral relations. This includes the exchange of visits at all levels, organising joint cultural festivals and art exhibitions of folklore, heritage and folk art. The two countries can also benefit from the cultural movement and the return of life to normal in the post-Coronavirus pandemic, especially in light of the readiness of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and the effects of the 16th Spring of Culture Festival.
