Thai-Indian Fun Fair 2015 set March 22

BANGKOK, March 12 (TNA) - The Indian Social Club Of Thailand Under the Patronage of the Embassy of India in Bangkok, in collaboration with the Indian-Thai Chamber of Commerce, will organize the Indian-Thai Fun Fair 2015, the second of its kind, in the Thai capital on March 22, in which the general public and international visitors are welcome to join. The organizers announced at a press conference in Bangkok on Thursday that the event will be held at Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus, from 3pm to 9pm. According to the organizers, the forthcoming fun fair is aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between Thailand and India in historical, economic and social spheres, while also joining in Thailand's celebrations of the 60th birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on April 2, 2015. Susheel Kumar Saraff, Coordinator of the Indian Social Club of Thailand Under the Patronage of the Embassy of India in Bangkok, said the organizers expect to welcome more than 5,000 visitors to the one-day fair, in which Rajasthan Josh, a group of highly-talented musicians who have learned music from an early age of India, will also take part to greet the visitors. Saraff also accredited Pridi Banomyong International College of Thammasat University, where the Indian Studies Program was firstly launched in Thailand. (TNA)
