Thai innovations to be showcased at NSTDA Annual Conference 2014

BANGKOK, March 12 (TNA) - Thailand’s National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) will showcase scientific and technological innovations at the NSTDA Annual Conference 2014 (NAC 2014), set to be held at Thailand Science Park (TSP) in Bangkok's adjacent Pathum Thani Province from March 31–April 3. NSTDA President Dr. Thaweesak Koanantakool told journalists on Wednesday that the 10th Annual Conference (NAC 2014) is organised to present and promote several fields of Thai scientific and technological innovative master pieces which can be used to help propel the national economy. Dr. Thaweesak said that innovative technologies to be showcased at the event include mobile advertising technology, in which motorcycle wheels are transformed to full-colour billboards or video screens, mobile palm oil quality tester, 3D tales technology and advance microbial biotechnology applied in the areas of agriculture, health, and industry. Other activities held at the NAC 2014 include a seminar on the topic of “Science and Technology: Driving Force for Sustainable Development” and a job fair featuring, for instance, over 2,000 career opportunities for scientists, researchers, engineers and programmers.
