Thai labour ministry to open one-stop service job placement centre

BANGKOK, January 18 (TNA) - Thailand’s Labour Ministry will open its one-stop service job placement centre starting on Monday. Noppadol Kannikar, advisor to the labour minister, said the compound will be equipped with modern technologies allowing 24 / 7 access to Thailand’s employment database system nationwide, aligned to personal information stored on every smart identification card. Skills development services will also be provided to job seekers who have such requirements, as well as labour welfare and workplace dispute counselling services to maximize workers’ benefits and resolve unjust working conditions.
