Thai Lion Air's Boeing 737-900ER planes to serve passengers in late 2013

BANGKOK, November 2 (TNA) - Thai Lion Air, a subsidiary low-cost airline of Indonesia’s giant airline group Lion Air, has unveiled its Boeing 737-900ER aircraft which will serve passengers between Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport and Jakarta's airport with two flights daily from early December 2013. Thai Lion Air also plans to launch its new aviation services from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital, with one flight daily, and from Bangkok to Chiang Mai Province in the Thai North with three flights daily later. Initially, the budget airline will have two planes to serve in Thailand, before increasing to 50 over the next five years. Besides, Thai Lion Air plans to open new other routes, including those to China, India and key tourist destinations in Thailand, in 2014.(TNA)
