Before the start of the Thai-Malaysian JBC Meeting on Thursday morning, held at the Army Club in the capital, Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan and Royal Thai Armed Forces leaders welcomed Malaysian Defence Minister Dato Seri Hishammuddin Bin Tun Hussein, who also inspected the guards of honour during the official ceremony to receive him and signed in the Thai Defence Ministry's guestbook. The Malaysian defence minister is paying an official visit to Thailand from January 28-30, as the guest of the Thai Ministry of Defence, to attend the 52nd Thai-Malaysian JBC Meeting and to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation between Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
