Thai newspaper's office attacked

BANGKOK, May 11 (TNA) - The office of Thai Rath, Thailand's best sellers daily newspaper in Bangkok's Chatuchak area was attacked by firecrackers early Saturday morning, but there were no reports of casualties. According to metropolitan police, they were informed by a security guard at the Thai Rath's office that the incident took place at around 3:20am, when four men on two motorcycles threw the firecrackers and petanque balls at a security box in front of the office, smashing the security box’s glass window. The police said they were examining evidence, including fingerprints on the ball, in order to track down the attackers, acknowledging thay they could not yet identify the motive behind the attack.
