Thai OTOP producers join products fair in Cambodia

SI SA KET, THAILAND, January 6 (TNA) - A caravan of One Tambon One Product (OTOP) producers from Thailand’s northeastern region has been invited to showcase their famous products in a products fair in Cambodia. The Thai OTOP producers are from Surin, Ubon Ratchathani and Si Sa Ket provinces. The event will run from January 7-11 in Cambodia’s Preah Vihear province. It will be jointly presided over by governors of the three Thai provinces on Monday. An atmosphere at Chong Sa-ngam border pass in Thailand’s Si Sa Ket province was lively Sunday as nearly 30 vehicles loaded with OTOP products of 60 OTOP producers crossed the border into Preah Vihear province in order to join the event. Hatthachai Pengjaem, a coordinator of the fair, said strong people to people ties had existed along border provinces of the two countries for a long time. He said the event would help strengthen bilateral relations between the two countires. (TNA)
