Thai PM arrives in Russia for 2012 APEC Summit

VLADIVOSTOK, September 8 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has arrived in Russia's far eastern Vladivostok City to attend the 20th Asia and Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit during this weekend. Yingluck and her entourage headed to Russia's Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) on the Russky Island, where the 2012 APEC Summit and related forums have been held since earlier this week after arriving in Vladivostok Friday night (local time), which is four hours ahead of Thailand. The Thai prime minister is scheduled to join other leaders of the 21-member APEC bloc at their 20th Summit and to then attend the APEC Business Advisory Council forum Saturday afternoon (local time).
