Thai PM attends funeral of Hun Sen's father

BANGKOK, July 16 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra left for Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital, on Tuesday afternoon to attend the funeral of Hun Neang, the late father of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, who died on July 12 at the age of 90. Those accompanying the Thai prime minister, who is also new Defence Minister concurrently, include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul and Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Niwatthamrong Boonsongpaisarn. The Thai prime minister and her entourage are scheduled to return to Thailand on Tuesday evening. (TNA)
