Thai PM extends New Year best wishes to people

BANGKOK, December 24 (TNA) - Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha has extended his best wishes to the Thai people on the auspicious occasion of the coming New Year 2015. Prime Minister General Prayut, who is also Chief of the army-led National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) wished on Wednesday the Thai people to be happy, safe and prosperous. The prime minister stressed that his government is working for public and national interests, asking people not to create any conflict during the ongoing one-year process of national reform although they may have different stances. The prime minister said, based on his government's vision for 2015-2020, Thailand is developing national security and becoming a global source of food, which will make Thai people prosperous. (TNA)
