Thai PM, FM Offer Condolences to France over Paris Attacks

BANGKOK, Nov 15 (TNA) - Thailand’s Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha and Foreign Affairs Minister Don Pramudwinai have sent condolence messages to their French counterparts, denouncing deadly attacks late Friday in Paris. The message sent by Gen. Prayut to his French counterpart Manuel Valls said: “On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I wish to convey to Your Excellency, and through you, our deepest condolences and sympathies to the victims and their families that have been affected by this tragic incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. “In these hours of losses, Thailand stands with the international community in condemning this heinous crime, and in expressing solidarity with the Government and the people of the French Republic.” The condolence message sent by Mr. Don to his French counterpart Laurent Fabius said partly that Thailand “strongly condemn this terrible act and stand side by side with France to work together in fighting against the scourge of terrorism”.
