Thai PM mulls Cabinet reshuffle

BANGKOK, July 24 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha has admitted that he is considering a Cabinet reshuffle. The prime minister told journalists on Friday that he has given morale support to Cabinet's members whose replacements are predicted in media reports and all of them said they are ready for changes. To him, the prime minister mentioned, they are all gentlemen and knew well what they would face in relation to their roles in the government. The prime minister explained that some of his Cabinet's members would not be replaced because of their incapabilities, but there are other internal and external factors, including the remaining term of his interim government and confidence, conceding that rumours on possible changes to economic ministers have affected investors' confidence in the Thai economy. The Thai premier confirmed that no Cabinet's members have tendered a resignation letter. (TNA)
