Thai PM visits Papua New Guinea

AUCKLAND, March 24 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra left New Zealand on Sunday for an official visit to Papua New Guinea, becoming Thailand’s first prime minister to visit that country officially. Miss Yingluck will visit Port Moresby the capital of Papua New Guinea and she is expected to encourage accompanying Thai businessmen to explore ways in investing in energy in that country. Prior to her departure for Port Moresby, Miss Yingluck visited the Show Dairy Farm and was welcomed by New Zealand’s Minister for the Community and Voluntary Sector Jo Goodhew. Show Dairy Farm is the world’s leading dairy products producer and exporter. The prime minister is on a five-day official visits to New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, started last Thursday. (TNA)
