BANGKOK, December 2 (TNA) - ]Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha has promised to speak out tenderly on His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's birthday, which falls on December 5 and is also the National Father's Day. Prime Minister General Prayut, who is also Chief of the army-led National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), made the vow on Tuesday, after the Cabinet's weekly meeting in Bangkok, saying he will also stop being hot tempered. The prime minister announced that the intentions will be part of his good deeds in honour of His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty's birthday. The prime minister also encouraged all Thais to do good deeds in honour of His Majesty the King by loving each other, being united, prioritising national benefits, following the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of His Majesty the King, creating a good future for younger generations and contributing to the society. The prime minister also stated that his government has prepared numerous New Year gifts to the Thai people, including organising cheap goods fairs, exempting toll ways and expressways fees during the long New Year holiday. Also after the Cabinet's weekly meeting, the prime minister said he was not concerned over the Constitution Drafting Committee's proposal for an amnesty bill to create national reconciliation, stressing that the idea did not come from him nor his government.
