Thai PM:Junta will work together with Cabinet

BANGKOK, September 6 (TNA) - Newly-appointed Thai Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha, who is also Army and National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) Chief, says that his Cabinet will work together with the NCPO in driving the nation ahead until a newly-elected government is formed. General Prayuth told the public of the policy during his weekly address on Friday night, acknowledging that the junta, whose some members are now also Cabinet members, including he himself, will also monitor the performance of the new Cabinet. The prime minister revealed that his interim government will report its policies to the National Legislative Assembly ( NLA) soon after the first Cabinet's meeting at Bangkok's Government House on September 9. The prime minister also called for cooperation from people and all sectors of the Thai society to help his government drive the nation forward toward all dimensional development and progress. (TNA)
