Thai police seize over 900,000 meth pills

SURAT THANI, July 20 (TNA) - Thailand Narcotics Suppression Bureau seized more than 900,000 methamphetamine pills from one of the biggest drugs dealers in the northeastern of Nakhon Phanom province. Two suspects are identified as Tinnakorn Kulaya and Kritsada Rodcharoenpan. They were both arrested in a resort in Punpin District, Surat Thani province. Police Major General Tritanai Apichartsaenee, Interception Commander, Narcotics Suppression Bureau, said these drugs are belongs to the Wa ethnics group. The drug smugglers exploited long holiday to transport illegal drugs from the neighboring country to the Thai border in Nakhon Panom. The drugs were bound to their network at the three southern province of Thailand. The police are now collecting evidences to seek the arrested warrant for more four suspects, who fled from the scene during the bust. (TNA)
