Thai politics critical: poll

BANGKOK, April 20 (TNA) - About 80 percent of poll respondents viewed that Thai political turmoil had reached a crisis because it cost lives while about 63 percent believed all Thais can help end the political turbulence. The opinion survey was conducted among 1,300 people by Suan Dusit Poll from April 17-19 about how they view Thai politics on Sunday. More than half or 55 percent of respondents said direct impact on the people were economic slump, high cost of living while 26 percent cited about inconvenience in commuting and trading. Regarding the solution, about 45 percent suggested the government and the anti-government People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) should negotiate to end the ongoing problems. Almost 40 per cent viewed that all sides should stop their movement to support any parties. (TNA)
