Thai Princess admitted to hospital for treatment of ureteric stones

BANGKOK, November 9 (TNA) - Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has been hospitalized for the treatment of ureteric stones. The Bureau of the Royal Household announced in a statement released on Saturday (Nov 9) afternoon that the revered Thai Princess was admitted to Bangkok-based Chulalongkorn Hospital on Friday (Nov 8) after having a stomach ache and a high fever. According to the Bureau of the Royal Household's statement, doctors have found stones in the Princess's bladder and have given her antibiotics and other medications. The physicians have also advised the Princess to stay in the hospital for a certain period of time and temporarily canceled her earlier-scheduled activities. (TNA)
