THAI responsible for medical expenses of the injured aboard TG 641 Flight

BANGKOK, February 27 (TNA) - Thai Airways International (THAI), the national flag carrier, takes full responsibility for medical expenses of all those injured aboard its TG 641 Flight, which experienced weather turbulence while flying from Japan to Thailand on February 26. THAI President Charumporn Jotikasathira stressed on the policy on Friday morning, referring to Thursday's incident, in which the THAI TG 641 Flight faced weather turbulence while it was flying from Tokyo's Narita International Airport to Thailand's main Suvarnabhumi International Airport, causing 11 people injured who are all reportedly crew members. The THAI president told journalists that the pilot was, however, able to land the TG641 Flight safely at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 3:51pm (local time), after which all the injured were sent to hospital for treatment. The THAI Airbus A340-600 aircraft departed from Tokyo's Narita International Airport at 10:36am on Thursday (local time). (TNA)
