Thai students bring home five Physics Olympiad medals

BANGKOK, July 22 (TNA) - Thai students have, again, brought reputation to their motherland by winning four gold medals and one silver medal from the 45th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), held in Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital, from July 13-21, 2014. The young Thai medalists are from Mahidol Wittayanusorn School, Samsen Wittayalai School and Triam Udom Suksa School. The Thai students returned home on Tuesday morning, amid a warm welcome by authorities concerned and their relatives and friends. The Thai youths are among a total of 374 students from 85 countries competing in the 2014 IPhO. (TNA)
