Thai students win four IChO 2014 medals

BANGKOK, July 29 (TNA) - Thai students have, again, brought fame to the nation by winning one gold medal and three silver medals from the 46th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), held in Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, from July 20-29, 2014. The gold and two other silver medalists are from Triam Udom Suksa School in Bangkok, while the other silver medalist is from Mahidol Wittayanusorn School in Bangkok's adjacent Nakhon Pathom Province. The Thai youths are among a total of 291 students from 75 countries competing in the 2014 IChO. All the four Thai medalists arrived at Thailand's main Suvarnabhumi International Airport on Tuesday afternoon, amid a warm welcome by representatives from the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST), their relatives and friends.
