Thailand faces three weathers until next week

BANGKOK, Jan 23 (TNA) - Royon Jitdon, director of Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute said Thailand is experiencing high-pressure system from China, causing weather uncertainties up until Thursday next week. He warned the public to brace themselves for up to three weather conditions of chilliness, hot spells and rain in one day until next Thursday. He said the northern part of Thailand would be windy with heavy rain during this period. Royon said strong winds are expected later on while heavy rainfall could add water at dams in the Northeast. Not much water is expected to enter Sirikit Dam which is considered a major dam in the country. Meanwhile, people will have to be on alert for severe drought in other areas such as the North. (TNA)
