Thailand hopes to clinch five medals from World Skill

BANGKOK, June 29 (TNA) - Thailand expects to capture at least five medals from the 42nd World Skill competition to be held in Germany's Leipzig City from July 1-9, 2013. Vice Minister for Labour Anusorn Kraiwatnusorn (อนุสรณ์ ไกรวัตนุสสรณ์) told reporters on Saturday (June 29) that about 50 countries worldwide will be competing in the competition, which is organised every two years. Anusorn acknowledged Thailand is fielding youths to compete in 20 branches and it hopes to win at least five medals in welding, hairdressing, model designing, mould building and CNC milling. (TNA)
