BANGKOK, January 4 (TNA) - Policy experts on water from over 50 countries will gather in Thailand in mid-2013 for the 2nd Asia-Pacific Water Summit, seen as a good opportunity for the Kingdom to show national potential on water management. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul told journalists on Friday that Thailand will host the 2nd Asia-Pacific Water Summit in the northern resort Chiang Mai Province from May 16-20. Surapong acknowledged that he has discussed preparations for the regional forum with authorities concerned, including Science and Technology Minister Plodprasop Suraswadi and Natural Resources and Environment Minister Preecha Rengsomboonsuk.
