Thailand to lower carrier change cost to Bt29 baht, starting June 30

BANGKOK, June 29 (TNA) - Thailand's mobile phone service providers are required to lower the cost of mobile carrier change to 29 baht with value-added tax (VAT) included, starting from June 30, 2013, as ruled by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). The NBTC announced on Saturday (June 29) that all mobile phone operators in Thailand are to legally comply with the new regulation. (TNA)
