Thailand's BCC Drumline clinches one of 12 best teams

BANGKOK, April 21 (TNA) - Bangkok Christian College (BCC), one of the oldest school in Thailand, has succeeded in becoming one of the 12 last teams in entering the final round of the "2014 WGI World Championships" Drumline competition held in the United States recently. Members of the BCC Drumline team returned home last weekend and were welcomed at Thailand's main Suvarnabhumi International Airport by senior administrators and students of the school. It was the first time that a Thai school was able to enter the final round of the "2014 WGI World Championships" and the second Asian country, after Japan, to have achieved such success. ChaisitLekprayoon, conductor of BCC Drumline, told reporters that his team is comprised mostly students of secondary and higher secondary classes of Bangkok Christian College. Chaisit revealed that the BCC Drumline's success was achieved with great difficulty, as the team was pushed from Class A to compete in the Open, which was obviously more difficult. Chaisit said Bangkok Christian College will continue supporting the team, while its members are preparing to compete for Thailand championships in August 2014 and, later on, for the world chorus championships in Russia.
