The fireworks, counted in well over 30,000 rounds, will fire from five large ships in front of the Klai Kangwon Palace in Hua Hin, about 500 metres offshore. The event, set from 7:29pm-9pm, was also collaborated by the Thai Ministry of Defence and the Hua Hin Municipal Office. Prachup Khiri Khan Governor Weera Sriwattanatrakul told reporters that the atmosphere in Hua Hin has been extremely active this week, as international visitors have almost booked up local hotel rooms, awaiting the fireworks display, organized as part of his province's joining in nationwide celebrations of His Majesty the King's 86th birthday on December 5, 2013.
