Thais worldwide invited to join "Bike For Dad" late 2015

BANGKOK, October 26 (TNA) - Thai people worldwide have been invited to participate in a mass bike event, "Bike For Dad", set simultaneously on December 11, 2015 in honour of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the auspicious occasion of the beloved Thai monarch's 88th birthday this year. Several Thai embassies across the world have continued campaigning on the forthcoming event through their websites to encourage Thai people living in their respective areas to join the "Bike For Dad" mass cycling activity, to be organised with its motto:"Let's Keep Echoing Our Love To Our Dad Around the Globe." The Thai Embassy in London, for instance, is inviting Thais in the United Kingdom and Ireland to participate in the grand bike event, to be held in Thailand and other 50 countries worldwide on the same day. In London, the "Bike for Dad" event will be organised at Lee Valley Velo Park from 10am-1pm (local time), when cyclists will be cycling in the park's 1.5 kilometre trail twice, or for a distance of 3 kilometres in total. Thais in the United Kingdom and Ireland who are interested in joining in the activity can download the registration form via the embassy's Facebook page by searching Royal Thai Embassy London, UK on Facebook, then submit the form to the embassy's official email at [bikefordadlondon@thaiembassyuk.org.uk] or by post to the embassy's address in London, where the envelop should also be specified "Bike For Dad" in brackets.
