THEORY-PRACTICE CONFERENCE ON SENIORS' SOCIAL WELFARE RUNS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Social Welfare and Service Section of the city’s Khan-Uul district Tuesday organized a theory-practice conference themed “Social welfare for seniors” on occasion of the international day for elders. The gathered discussed some issues, then exchanged views on a cooperation with the state bodies and NGOs that work on refining the elders-aimed state services and welfare, and touched upon a law on social welfare for elders. At the conference were also Dr R.Oyunkhand, a general director of the National Center of Gerontology; B.Dolgormaa, a gerontology doctor at Khan-Uul district’s Health Center; Dr T.Amarjargal, a teacher of the Mongolian University of Sciences and Technology.
