Three killed in helicopter crash in Khon Kaen

KHON KAEN, July 18 (TNA) – Three people were killed in a helicopter crash in the northeastern province of Khon Kaen this morning. The helicopter crashed into the field around 9 am and was engulfed in fire. The investigation to determine the cause of the incident is under way but it may relate to the weather conditions. Pol Col Kritsana Pattanacharoen, deputy spokesman for the Royal Thai Police said that National police chief Chakthip Chaijinda ordered provincial police to find evidence to identify the victims and assist their relatives. A contingency plan has been implemented in response to the accident. (TNA)
