Three persons die of rabies

BANGKOK. March 10 (TNA) - The Public Health Ministry has urged pets owners to take their dogs, cats and different types of pets to take vaccination after three persons have recently died of rabies. Deputy permanent secretary for Public Health, expressed worrisome and advised that owners should help in preventing the rabies from spreading in the country by taking their pets aged between two – three months to take vaccination. Three persons have already died from rabies since the beginning of this year. Two out of three victims died after they were bitten by puppies raised in their houses. In 2017 and 2016, eight and 13 persons died of rabies respectively, he cited statistics compiled by the ministry. (TNA)
