TIBF registration system launched

Tehran, Dec 9, IRNA – The registration system of the international section of the 28th Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) has been launched. The registration forms can be obtained in the English section of the book fair’s website, www.tibf.ir/en/. Foreign publishers from across the globe can enroll online and send the list of their books directly to the fair. The system also holds an online visa section through which foreign publishers and guests can apply, the public relations department of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute reported on Tuesday. Foreign publishers can fill forms as interactive PDF forms, available on the system, as well. The registration forms were already available for publication companies which participated at the 2014 Frankfurt International Book Fair. Interested individuals and enthusiasts may visit the website and confirm their registration by February 28, 2015. Based on the rules set by the 28th TIBF, in order to rent a pavilion, Arab publishers should pay €50 per a square meter, while Western publication companies have to pay €100 and the representatives of cultural fairs and foreign embassies are charged €150 for the same area. Tehran International Book Fair is annually held as a social and cultural phenomenon with book displays, panel discussions and publishing deals.
