TICA restores Kyrgyz hospital

BISHKEK (A.A) - December 19, 2011 - Turkish International Cooperation Agency (TICA) has restored the Jalalabad State Clinic Hospital which was partially damaged in 2010 during ethnic clashes in south Kyrgyzstan. Speaking to the AA, TICA's Bishkek Coordinator's Office said that the hospital was originally built in 1938 and went through restoration thanks to funds provided by the TICA. The restoration at the hospital included Maternity Ward, Morgue, Infections Department, Cardiology Department, Neurological Disorders Department and others. Meanwhile, TICA has provided construction equipment for the dormitory of the Religious Studies Faculty of the Kyrgyz State University.
