MILLIYET

HERE IS NATO'S PLAN FOR IZMIR
Despite the rumors that NATO's command in Turkey's Aegean Izmir province would be closed down, the organization has decided to change the task of the command and designate it with a more important mission. Accordingly, NATO's air command in Izmir will become a land base that will be used for critical assignments. NATO defense ministers are expected to take important decisions regarding the organization's restructuring process during their meeting in Brussels on June 8-9. Within that framework, NATO is getting prepared to carry its Land Component Command, currently in Spain, to Turkey.

THEY ARE DISTURBED BY THE FLAG
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who addressed hundreds of thousands of people at Istanbul's Kazlicesme district one day after Republican People's Party's (CHP) rally at the same location, criticized CHP chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu again. Pointing to a large Turkish flag carried by citizens, Erdogan said, "Some people are disturbed by the color of this flag. There are circles who give CHP's flag to Peace & Democracy Party (BDP) members in Hakkari instead of the Turkish flag. June 12 will be the payoff day for them".

SABAH
-----
WE WANT TO BE LIKE TURKEY
"Tahrir Youths", who overthrew Mubarak in Egypt, spoke to Sabah daily: "we especially want to know how army was drawn away from politics. Our dream is to found a civil and secular country like Turkey."

RECORD HIGH RALLY
Prime Minister and Chairman of Justice & Development (AK) Party Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed over one million people in his party's election rally in Kazlicesme neighborhood of Istanbul. Erdogan said, "victory will be ours, I'm proud of you."

WAVE OF RETURN
The number of Turkish people, who are returning from Germany to Turkey permanently, boomed. The reason is the economic crisis and chronical visa problems in Europe. Economic Development Foundation (IKV) Chairman Prof. Haluk Kabaalioglu said that fractures in the EU's economy made Turks in Europe to buy one-way ticket back to Turkey.
