Tolstoyˈs grandchild to visit Tehran Intˈl Book Fair

Tehran, April 16, IRNA - A grandchild of renowned Russian writer Leo Tolstoy will attend the inaugural ceremony of the upcoming Tehran International book Fair. Tolstoyˈs grandchild, the head of the literary Tolstoy Foundation, has been invited by the fairˈs international committee to attend the event. Tolstoyˈs grandchild also attended the international book fairs in London and Frankfurt. Count Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy (1828-1910), also known as Leo Tolstoy, was a Russian writer who primarily wrote novels and short stories. Tolstoy was a master of realistic fiction and is widely considered one of the worldˈs greatest novelists. He is renowned for two long novels, ˈWar and Peaceˈ (1869) and ˈAnna Kareninaˈ (1877) The 27th Tehran international Book Fair will be held from April 30 until May 10, 2014.
