Top award recognises HM King's wise policies, says Diplomatic Advisor

Manama, Jan. 19 (BNA): Advisor to HM the King for Diplomatic Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, has asserted that granting His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Legion of Merit, Degree of Chief Commander, by US President, Donald J. Trump, is a high-level recognition of HM the King’s unwavering efforts to strengthen the solid relations, partnership and cooperation between the two friendly countries. He added that the well-deserved honouring embodies the great appreciation of HM King Hamad’s policies, sound approach and contributions to promoting understanding, dialogue and rapprochement among peoples. It is also the fruitful outcome of the major role played by HM the King at the regional and global levels to strengthen the pillars of stability and peace, in cooperation with brotherly and allied countries, he said. HM the King’s Advisor praised the advanced level of the deep-rooted and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US at all levels, hailing the steady progress of their joint coordination on various issues.
