Top mathematician pupils selected

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 49th mathematics national Olympiad ran May 3-7 in Ulaanbaatar. This year's measure attracted 327 pupils and 47 teachers from all provinces and the capital city. The contests ran in "teacher" and "8-11 grades" categories. The city’s #1 secondary school won three gold, one silver and seven bronze medals; "Olonlog" school—two gold, one silver and three bronze medals; and "Orchlon" school—one gold, one silver and two bronze medals. A prize for creative solutions went to a pupil of the "Orchlon". A Head of the Citizens' Representative Khural of the city D.Battulga worked as a leader of the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad. Some of the awardees will compete in the 54th International Mathematical Olympiad that will run July 18-28 in Santa Marta city, Colombia.
