Top official: Azerbaijan should be careful with power politics pursued by Armenia in South Caucasus

Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 18 By Elchin Mehdiyev - Trend: Azerbaijan should be careful and aware of the power politics pursued by Armenia in the South Caucasus, head of the Department of Public and Political Issues of Azerbaijani President's Administration, Ali Hasanov said on Nov. 18 in Baku. Hasanov made the remarks during his speech at the presentation of the book entitled "Occupation of Azerbaijan by Armenia. Analytical Chronicle". According to him, Azerbaijani people in their hearts long for the Nagorno-Karabakh. "Each of us should be a missionary, each of us must support the policy pursued by the Azerbaijani President with regards to the Nagorno-Karabakh problem. We have to return Nagorno-Karabakh not only with power, but also with mind. If every Azerbaijani supports this in his sphere, we will close in on this victory and put Armenia before the fact," the head of the presidential administration department said. Hasanov noted that the Karabakh issue is of great importance in Azerbaijan's entire activity and should remain so. "For the liberation of the occupied territories there should be a separate area in the activity of each of us, regardless whether he is a musician, a scientist, a journalist, soldier, politician, or a deputy," Hasanov underscored. "The book entitled "Occupation of Azerbaijan by Armenia. Analytical Chronicle" reflects the annals of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," Hasanov said. "This is the historical chronicle." "Azerbaijan must thoroughly consider the policy of power pursued by Armenia in the South Caucasus," Hasanov said. "Azerbaijan must demonstrate its mind, intellect and experience." "The policy of a strong country's truth dominates in today's world," Hasanov added. "How it should be in reality? There must be such a policy that those who are right must have power. Those who are right must be strong in everything. Unfortunately, we live in the world where different standards are used and the right of force is more used and supported. "From this point of view, we must not forget the task that the President has repeatedly set at various events to the citizens, intellectuals of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani people - attacking diplomacy," Hasanov said. "We must have weapons for such diplomacy. We can not be without it in the presence of the Armenian lobby, which is well-armed with various technologies and methodologies of the anti-Azerbaijani propaganda." Hasanov noted that Armenians recently have been having problems with protecting themselves. "Facts, our incontrovertible evidence forced them to cede their positions in the international organizations," Hasanov underscored.
